SOVTECH invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts purely on contract basis.

4. Essential Qualification and Experience: B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology) Or Master of Computer Application Or Diploma in (Computer Engineering/Information Technology) Or B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) Or Bachelor of Computer Applications
5. Experience: At least two (02) Years’ experience in software Designing & Development with core domain knowledge and experience on:
a) Development of Web application in ASP.Net using VB/C# as code-behind language, MS SQL Server 2008 or higher, MVC 3 with EDM (Entity Data Model).
b) Experience in PHP & My SQL.
c) Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services, Stored Procedures in MS SQL Server 2008 or higher database versions.
d) Deployment & configuration of web Applications in IIS/Apache Web Servers.
e) Data security, privacy & threat protection of web applications & web services.
f) Core knowledge on Web Application Security.
g) Extensive knowledge on XML, AJAX & JQuery.
h) Experience in Web Services like JSON, WSDL, SOAP & REST.
i) Working on Content Management Software.
j) Software development working in Government/PSU Projects
k) Basic configuration in WIN NT/Linux, Hardware and Networking

4. Essential Qualification and Experience: B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology) Or Master of Computer Application Or Diploma in (Computer Engineering/Information Technology) Or B.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) Or Bachelor of Computer Applications
5. Duties and responsibilities: Experience: At least two (02) Years’ experience in mobile Application Development with core domain knowledge & experience on:
a) Design and build advanced mobile applications for the Android/IOS platform and Proven working experience in Android app development.
b) Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
c) Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
d) Experience with third-party libraries and APIs eg. Retrofit, Google Map API, Live location tracking etc.
e) Hands-on Working knowledge of Firebase (FCM). - Good Knowledge of OOPS concept & Core Java ,Knowledge of Kotlin is addon
f) Knowledge of local storage SQLite database and Shared Preference.
g) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
h) Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
i) Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
j) Maintain existing Application & improve features.

Selection Procedure
1. The Selection for the posts of Network Engineer and BMS Engineer (State Data Centre) will be made through a written test which will be held for the eligible candidates on 29th Dec, 2021. Skill test in the relevant field will be held for the posts on 30th Dec, 2021.
2. The Written Test will carry maximum marks 30.
3. The skill test will carry maximum marks 70.
4. The Selection for the posts of Programmer will be made through a skill test which will be held for the eligible candidates on 30th Dec, 2021

1. A Candidate may apply for more than one post.
2. The candidate who can join immediately after selection will be given preference.
3. The candidates needs to apply online by visiting the url – https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in or may also apply through eDweep Kendra (CSC) by paying usual charges for scanning and uploading the documents.
4. All relevant documents in support to the essential qualification, desirable qualification like Educational Certificate, Mark Sheets, Age Proof and Experience Certificate should be uploaded along with the applications.
5. The last date of submission of application (online) is 21st Dec, 2021 by 4.30 PM.
6. Applications received after the due date and time shall not be considered.

5. The decision of SOVTECH in all aspects pertaining to the application, its acceptance or rejection, conduct of interview and at all consequent stages culminating in selection or otherwise of any candidate shall be final and binding on all concerned.
