Post 1: Classical Dance (1 Vacancy)

• Essential Professional Qualification: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in any Indian Classical Dance from a recognized Institute
• Minimum Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks (for NTPC categories). The 50% mark restriction is relaxed for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwD candidates and candidates holding higher qualifications.
• OR Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT (for technician categories)

Post 2: Mridangam (1 Vacancy)

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection will be made through a 100-mark total assessment comprising three components:

• Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT): 50 Marks – Objective-type questions covering General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Cultural subjects. Duration: 1 hour. Negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer.
• Practical Demonstration (Talent Test): 35 Marks – Candidates will be assessed on live performance in their respective discipline (Classical Dance or Mridangam).
• Assessment of Testimonials / Certificates / Awards: 15 Marks – Evidence of training, participation in recognized cultural events, awards, or professional experience will be evaluated.

Refund of Examination Fee: General/OBC candidates who appear in the CBT will receive ₹400/- back (after deduction of applicable bank charges). SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwD/Women/Minorities/EBC candidates who appear in the CBT will receive a full refund (after deduction of applicable bank charges). No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in any stage of the selection process.
