Sports Authority of India an autonomous organization under the Administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with its Head office at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, invites applications from the eligible candidates for engagement as Catering Manager purely on contract basis at SAI NCOE, Lucknow initially for a period of one (1) year which could be extended on satisfactory performance. The details of the post and eligibility criteria are as under

4. Qualification and experience required : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University + one year diploma in Hotel Management or Catering Management from a recognised Institution. Or Graduation in Hotel Management/ Catering Management from a recognised Institution/University Or 03 Years Diploma in Hotel Management completed before 2000 from a recognized institution/university
5. Experience:- Three years experiencein the relevant field after obtaining the essential qualification.
6. Tenure: -Initially contractual engagement will be for a period of one year which could be further extended on satisfactory performance.
7. Remuneration: - Monthly remuneration will be decided on the basis of performance of the candidates in the interview and on the recommendation of the Selection Board.
8. Tax Deduction at source: - The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the SAI will issue TDS certificates/ Service Tax, as applicable.
9. Other Allowances: - No TA /DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. No other facilities like DA, Accommodation, Residential Phone, Conveyance /Transport, Personal Staff, Medical reimbursement, HRA, and LTC etc. would be admissible to them
10. Extension: - Performance of the person would be continuously reviewed and their extension will be considered on the basis of periodic review / requirement
11. Leave: - They will be entitled for 30 days leave in a calendar year on pro- rata basis. Therefore, the contract employee shall not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond 30 days in a year. Also un- availed leave in a calendar year will lapse and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year
Pay Scale: INR 30000 - 50000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. he candidates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview at SAI Regional Office at Lucknow through e-mail in 1:7 ratio based on the final marks secured in Degree or Graduation in Hotel Management / Catering Management from a recognised Institute/ University.
2. No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the interview. SAI reserve the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process at any stage without assigning any reason. DG SAI shall be the final authority in case of any dispute.
3. Any litigation matters pertaining to employment at SAI shall be restricted to the jurisdiction of Lucknow court.

Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. Before registering/submitting applications on the website the candidates should possess the following: Valid E-mail ID: The e-mail ID entered in the online application form should remain active until the recruitment process is completed. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once entered
