Sports Authority of India an autonomous organization under the Administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with its Head office at Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, invites applications from the eligible candidates for engagement as Assistant Nutritionist on contract basis at various SAI, Centers/ Head Office, New Delhi.

1. Name of the Post: Assistant Nutritionist
2. Number of person required: 03
3. Monthly remuneration (Rs.) : 40,000/- to 60,000/-
4. Qualification and experience required. : Masters in Foods & Nutritionist/ Home Science with specialization in Nutrition/ Sports Nutrition from recognized Indian University.
5. Experience:- Minimum 2(Two years in the relevant field). Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with sportsperson.
6. Tenure: - Initially contractual engagement will be for a period of one year extendable by two years. At the end of every year performance will be evaluated for annual increment. However, periodic evaluation shall be made on performance and if found not satisfactory contract shall be terminated at any time by giving one month notice.
7. Remuneration: - will be finalized based on performance and experience.
8. Tax Deduction at source: - The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment, for which the SAI will issue TDS certificates/ Service Tax, as applicable.
9. Other Allowances: - No TA /DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. No other facilities like DA, Accommodation, Residential Phone, Conveyance /Transport, Personal Staff, Medical reimbursement, HRA, and LTC etc. would be admissible to them.
10.Leave: - They will be entitled for 30 days leave in a calendar year on pro- rata basis. Therefore, the contract employee shall not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond 30 days in a year. Also un- availed leave in a calendar year will lapse and will not be carried forward to the next calendar year.
Pay Scale: INR 40000 - 60000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. The candidates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview at SAI Head Office at New Delhi through e-mail in 1:5 ratio based on the final marks secured in Masters in Foods & Nutritionist/ Home Science with specialization in Nutrition/ Sports Nutrition from recognized Indian University. No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
2. SAI reserve the right to cancel the advertisement or the selection process at any stage without assigning any reason.
3. DG SAI shall be the final authority in case of any dispute. Any litigation matters pertaining to employment at SAI shall be restricted to the jurisdiction of Delhi court.

Before registering/submitting applications on the website the candidates should possess the following: i) Valid E-mail ID: The e-mail ID entered in the online application form should remain active until the recruitment process is completed. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once entered. Self attested documents to be uploaded while submitting application online:
1) Certificate of Date of birth.
2) Certificates of essential educational qualifications & experience.
3) Scanned copy of passport size colour photograph and signature.
4) Scanned copy of No Objection Certificate from their present employer, in case working in Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Organizations on regular basis.

i) Candidates who are working in Central/ State Government/ Autonomous Organizations have to produce No Objection Certificate from their employer along with all original as well as photocopy of all the documents at the time of interview.
