Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cut-off date; i.e., closing date of receipt of applications.

Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.

Selection Procedure:
Paper 1 (Computer-Based Exam)
Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Paper 2 (Computer-Based Exam)
Medical Examination.

SSC CPO Recruitment Physical Endurance Test (PET):
For Male:
100 meters race in 16 seconds
1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
Long Jump: 3.65 meters (3 attempts)
High Jump: 1.2 meters (3 attempts)
Shot Put (16 lbs): 4.5 meters (3 attempts)

For Female:
100 meters race in 18 seconds
800 meters race in 4 minutes
Long Jump: 2.7 meters (3 attempts)
High Jump: 0.9 meters (3 attempts).

Application Fee: Fee payable: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
