Applications are invited through off line mode (hard copies to be submitted) from the eligible candidates for the posts detailed hereunder to be—recruited on Contractual and Outsourcing basis in S. V. Medical College, Tirupati Chittoor District.. 1. Name of the Post: Lab Attendant 2. No. of posts to be filled: 05 3. Remuneration P.M. in Rupees: Rs.12000 4. Qualification required: Must have passed SSC or SSLC exam with certificate course of Lab Attdt. In a recognized Institution.Or Intermediate (Medical Lab Asst. Vocational Course) offered by the Board of Intermediate Education.

Selection Procedure
Mode of appointment:
1. Contract basis Through D.S.C
2. Outsourcing Through D.S.C
3. Aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in the qualifying examination - 75 marks.
4. Weightage for experiences of government services included contract /Out sourcing service
5. Weightgage for No. of years since passing qualifying examination - Up to 10 marks @ 1 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite qualification

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) is a Medical Institute under State Legislature Act and a specialty hospital in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
SVIMS was conceived on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi and was created by an act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature. The foundation stone was laid on 18 April 1986 by N. T. Rama Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The hospital started functioning from 2 February 1993 and later became a Medical Institute under State Legislature Act in 1995.
