Health Officer

Number of Vacancy: 12 Posts

Educational Qualification:
a) Must possess MBBS degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University or by any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India.
b) Must be a Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of the Tamil Nadu Medical Registration Act, 1914 (Tamil Nadu Act IV of 1914)
c) Must possess Diploma in Public Health awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai or by any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India Or Must possess M.D.(Social and Preventive Medicine/Community Medicine) degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University or by any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India: Or Must possess Diplomate of National Board in Community Health Medicine awarded by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi; Or Must possess Master of Public Health degree of any University recognized by the Medical Council of India.

56900-209200/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 37 Years.

Selection Process: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Examination (Computer Based Test Method) and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the CBT examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicants’ appearance in the CBT examination and oral test is compulsory. The applicant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the CBT examination or Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection.
