Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Essential Qualification: BS 4 years programme/Pharm/MBBS/BVSc/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
  • Desirable Qualification:
    • Experience in basic microbiological techniques/GLP
    • Cell culture and Virus propagation
    • Viral passaging and standardization of MOI
    • Molecular diagnostic techniques
  • Age Limit: 28 Years (Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically handicapped candidates)


Salary / Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA as per CSIR guideline.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a written test followed by an interview for short-listed candidates. The written exam would be for one-hour duration with multiple-choice questions.

Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with No Objection letter from the present employer. No TA/DA will be provided.
