Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Manager (Accommodation Outfit)

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum 9 years post-qualification managerial experience in Shipbuilding, Ship repair, Offshore Installations, or Marine related Engineering companies. Must have experience in Accommodation outfitting functions.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications (AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office); Experience in ERP/SAP environment; Specialization in construction of modular accommodation design and execution.

Eligibility for Deputy Manager (Marine)

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with 60% marks OR Graduation from Directorate of Marine Engineering Training (DMET) with minimum 3rd engineer certification of competency.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification sailing experience. At least 2 years as Third Engineer onboard oceangoing ships.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications (AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, Primavera); Experience of working in an ERP/ SAP/ computerised environment.

Salary & Stipend

• Manager (E3 Grade): Pay Scale Rs. 60,000 - 3% - 1,80,000. Approx Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 1,18,400 (Basic Rs. 60,000 + DA, HRA, Perks).
• Deputy Manager (E2 Grade): Pay Scale Rs. 50,000 - 3% - 1,60,000. Approx Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 98,400 (Basic Rs. 50,000 + DA, HRA, Perks).
• Other Benefits: Contributory Provident Fund, National Pension System, Gratuity, Accident Insurance, Medical reimbursement, Leave encashment, Performance related Payment.

Important Dates

• Start Date to Apply Online: 10 December 2025
• Last Date to Apply Online: 31 December 2025

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)

• Manager: Maximum 40 years (Born on or after 01 Jan 1986).
• Deputy Manager: Maximum 35 years (Born on or after 01 Jan 1991).
• Age Relaxation: 3 Years for OBC (NCL) candidates in reserved posts. 10 Years for Ex-Servicemen (Max age 50 for Manager, 45 for Deputy Manager).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a combination of:

• Work Experience assessment (40 Marks)
• Power Point Presentation on work experience (30 Marks)
• Group Discussion (10 Marks)
• Personal Interview (20 Marks)

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process at UCSL Malpe or via electronic media.

• SC/ST: Exempted from fee payment.
