Senior Research Officer (F&EA)

Number of Vacancy: 01 Posts
Educational Qualification: Master/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Economics/commerce/ Engineering/ Law/ Science/ Humanities from University /institution or, membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, as the case may be and possessing requisite experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale:
INR
67700-208700/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

Application Fee: Demand Draft (towards application fee - non-refundable) for Rs. 295/- (Rupees two hundred and ninety-five only) inclusive of GST @ 18% drawn in favour of Telecom Regulatory Authority India (TRAI) payable at DELHI/NOIDA. SC/ST Candidates and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established by the Indian government to regulate telecommunications services and ensure their proper functioning in the country. It was created under the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, of 1997.
The TRAI is responsible for promoting fair competition in the telecommunications industry, protecting the interests of consumers, and ensuring the growth and development of the sector. It formulates and implements various regulations and policies related to telecommunications services, including tariffs, quality of service, interconnection, and licensing.
The TRAI also conducts research and analysis on telecommunications issues, provides recommendations to the government, and resolves disputes between service providers. Additionally, it promotes the development of new technologies and services in the telecommunications sector.
