Educational Qualification:
Soldier (General Duty): Candidates should have passed Class 10th/Matric with at least 45% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 33% in each subject. For boards using a grading system, a minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or a grade that corresponds to 33% in each subject, with an overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent, corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

Soldier (Clerk): Candidates should have passed 10+2/Intermediate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with at least 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. It is mandatory to secure at least 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12th.

Soldier Tradesmen (All Trades except House Keeper & Mess Cook): Candidates should have passed Class 10th with no minimum aggregate percentage requirement, but a minimum of 33% is required in each subject.

Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Cook): Candidates should have passed Class 8th, with no minimum aggregate percentage requirement, but a minimum of 33% must be obtained in each subject.
