Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Eligible Candidate Categories

• Ex-Servicemen: Only those who are pension holders.
• Ex-Women Employees (including premature retirees): Of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) or State Forest Departments.

Both categories must have completed a minimum of 20 years of service in MoEF&CC or a State Forest Department, as applicable to the specific category.

Enrolment & Service Conditions

• Eligible candidates should be enrolled within five years from the date of retirement.
• Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) can serve up to 55 years of age.
• Other Ranks (OR) can serve up to 50 years of age.

Physical Standards

Relaxation of 5 cm in height and corresponding weight is provided for women from the North-East and hill regions. Additional relaxations apply for Gorkhas, Assamese and Garhwalis. Candidates must refer to the original notification for precise applicability.

Selection Process & Screening Stages

The recruitment rally follows a multi-stage screening process. All candidates must report on 16 November 2026 at 7:00 AM at the designated venue.

1. Reporting & Document Verification: Screening of eligibility and original documents at the rally site.
2. Physical Fitness Tests: 1-mile run, pull-ups, 8-foot ditch, zigzag balance beam (for male candidates as applicable).
3. Proficiency / Trade Test: Trade-specific test for tradesmen posts. For eligible ex-women candidates, a test concerning afforestation and nursery management is conducted.
4. Interview by Board of Officers: Candidates who qualify in physical tests will be interviewed.
5. Medical Examination: Final medical fitness assessment (SHAPE-1 category required).

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the recruitment rally. Messing and accommodation will not be provided during the rally.
