Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications (Applicable to all posts)
- Option A: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/allied subject from a recognized Indian University or equivalent foreign degree.
- Option B: Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in World University Rankings (QS, THE, or ARWU).
- Clearance of NET/SET/SLET: Candidates must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR), SLET/SET, or be Ph.D. degree holders (awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016). Ph.D. holders are exempt from NET/SET requirements subject to specific conditions (regular mode, evaluation by two examiners, open viva, publication of papers).
Desirable Qualifications
- Mathematics: PhD in Applied Mathematics/Mathematics/Mathematical Sciences.
- Physics: PhD in Applied Physics/Physics.
- Chemistry: PhD in Applied Chemistry/Chemistry.
