Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Candidate must be a domicile of Uttarakhand.
• Must have passed 10th (SSC/Matric) and ITI (regular) in the relevant trade (COPA, Stenographer/Secretarial Assistant – Hindi, Plumber, Fitter) in the years 2023, 2024 or 2025.
• Only candidates who have successfully passed ITI (regular) in 2023, 2024 and 2025 are eligible; candidates with awaited results are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years (as on last date of submission)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PH candidates.

Other Criteria

• Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training previously.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Project Affected Families (PAF) and Project Affected Areas (PAA).

Salary/Stipend

Stipend will be payable per month as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025. The exact stipend amount is not specified in the notification. No employment guarantee is provided after completion of training.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the ITI examination in the relevant trade. If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the candidate with higher age will be given preference. There will be no interview.
