Note: The notification invites applications for empanelment of eligible candidates to be considered for future engagement on a Fixed Tenure Contract (Adhoc Basis). The exact number of vacancies will depend on the requirements of the Company at the time of engagement. Candidates selected for engagement will receive a 3% annual increment on successful completion of each contract year.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification (Engineer – IT): Candidates must have successfully completed Apprenticeship training in Degree (B.Tech/BE) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, or Information Technology from FACT Training & Development Centre (FACT T&D Centre).
• Apprenticeship Completion Deadline: Apprenticeship training must have been completed on or before 31.12.2025.
• Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01.10.2026).
• Maximum Age: Less than 35 years (as on 01.10.2026).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC-NCL – 3 years; PWBD – 10 years.
• Proof of Date of Birth: Standard X certificate bearing the date of birth shall only be considered as valid proof.
• Reservation: Reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and PWBD candidates will be applicable as per Government Directives. EWS candidates must submit EWS certificate for FY 2025-26 (income year). OBC-NCL candidates must submit self-declaration in addition to the caste certificate. PWBD candidates must submit a certificate from the Authority as prescribed under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017.
• Indian Citizenship: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for FACT Engineer (IT) recruitment is not based on a written examination or interview. It follows a document-based empanelment process:

1. Preliminary Scrutiny of Documents: After scrutiny of documents submitted along with the application, candidates will be ranked on the basis of:
   • Earlier date of passing Apprenticeship Training (the candidate with the earliest completion date ranks higher).
   • Order of Apprenticeship Token Number (ascending sequence).
2. Provisional Selection & Medical Examination: Provisionally selected candidates will undergo a pre-employment Medical Examination and must be certified fit by the Company's Medical Officer.
3. Police Clearance Certificate: Engagement will be subject to the submission of a Police Clearance Certificate.

Important Screening Clause: Meeting the eligibility criteria or inclusion in the Panel does not by itself confer any right on the applicant for selection or for engagement. The engagement is at the absolute discretion of FACT Management.

TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the selection process.
