The Indian Army Invites Application for Agniveer Tradesman, Agniveer Technical, More Recruitment 2022

Details of Recruitment Rally by ARO Tiruchirappalli. Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Tiruchirappalli from 21 Aug 2022 to 01 Sep 2022 at Arignar Anna Sports Stadium, Nagercoil, Distt- Kanniyakumari (Tamilnadu) to enroll eligible "Agniveers" into the Army from Sixteen districts of Tamilnadu i.e.

i. Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Thanjavur, Puddukkottai, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari, Mayiladuthurai and one district, Karaikal of UT Puducherry in Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical,

ii. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass categories. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 01 Jul 2022 to 30 Jul 2022.

1. Position: Agniveer General Duty (All Arms)

2. Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%- 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

1. Position: Agniveer Technical (All Arms)

2. Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2 / intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to include NIOS and ITI course of min one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.

1. Position: Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)

2. Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English andMaths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class XII is mandatory.

1. Position: Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass (All Arms)

2. Educational Qualification: 

(i) Class 10th Simple Pass.

(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

1. Position: Agniveer Tradesman 8 th pass (Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) (All Arms)

2. Educational Qualification: 

(i) Class 8th simple pass.

(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Selection Procedure

(a) Change in Rally Conduct Procedure Due to COVID. To avoid large gatherings at one place, Candidates will be directed to report to different Report Centres in the close vicinity of main venue (Indira Priya Darshini, Stadium, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh). The same will be coordinated by the Recruiting staff once candidates report to rally venue.

(b) Physical Measurement Test (PMT). As per eligibility requirement of category given at Paragraph 13 (Eligibility Conditions).

(c) Medical.

(i) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally site.

(ii) Unfit candidates will be referred to designated hospital for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated hospital within 5 days from referral and review medical exam to be completed by Military Hospital within 14 days as per policy. If declared fit, candidate should report back to ARO, Visakhapatnam for issue of Admit Cards for CEE.

(iii) If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and despatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited.

(d) Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

(i) CEE will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Card.

(ii) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself.

(iii) Admit Card for the CEE for the medical review fit cases will be issued after getting medically fit by concerned specialist/ specialists at designated hospital
