Skills / Eligibility

The Directorate of Education, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu under Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), invites applications from the eligible candidates to engage Primary and Upper Primary School Teachers purely on Short Term Contract (STC) Basis for Government Schools on a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- (Twenty Two Thousand Only) for Primary and Rs. 23,000/- (Twenty Three Thousand Only) for Upper Primary Schools.

i. The details are as follows:-

1. Post Name: For Upper Primary School Teacher

2. No of Posts: 79

3. Qualification:

i. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with atleast 50% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with atleast 45% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure)

ii. Regulations issued from time to time in this regards OR Senior Secondary (Class XII Pass) with atleast 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (Class XII Pass) with atleast 50% marks and 04 years B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed./B.Com. Ed. OR B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed (Special Education)

iii. The candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level. Note: Not Applicable for language subjects viz. Gujarati/Marathi/Hindi/English and etc.

4. Essential-Qualification: The candidate should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by Central Government OR other State Govt. in the respective subject in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for purpose.

Pay Scale: INR 23000(Per Month)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years Note: The upper age limit is relaxable as per the Orders/ instruct ions issued by the Central Government from time to time

Selection Procedure

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview

How to Apply:

1. Application in the prescribed format (enclosed herewith) with copy of relevant documents should be submitted in hard copy to the office of the Directorate of Education, Fort Area, Moti Daman or DNH District Education Office, Secretariat, Silvassa on or before 13th January 2022 05:00 pm.

2. OR Scanned application form along with all relevant documents may be sent through email on [email protected] on or before 13th January 2022 05:00 pm.

3. Candidates appearing in CTET December 2021 exam may also apply, however, their appointment will be subject to qualification of CT ET December 2021 (Attach a copy of Admit Card of CTET December 2021). A list of Eligible and In-eligible candidates will be published on the official website.

4. The Written Test is Scheduled on 16th January 2022. Classroom Demonstration for outsider candidates will be held on 17th January 2022 and for local candidates will be from 18th January 2022.

5. Candidates scoring a minimum 40% marks in Written Test will only be eligible for Classroom Demonstration.

6. Single application for both the posts viz. Primary & Upper Primary School Teachers will not be entertained. Applicants need to apply separately for both posts.
