Directorate of Education, U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu under Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), invites applications from the eligible candidates to engage Pre-School Teachers purely on short Term Contract (STC) basis on consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs.10,000/- per month.The details are as follows

3. Fixed Honorarium per month Rs. 10,000/- fixed per month
4. Qualifications: Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with at least 45% marks in accordance with National Council for Teachers Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 And Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than one years, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher ducation recognized institution. OR
a. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ELEd.)
b. who has acquired the qualification of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ElL.Ed.) from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a Preschool teacher provided the person appointed as a preschool teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Nursery Education/ Early Childhood Education Programme recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as pre-school tracher" Teacher Education/Pre-School

The willing and eligible candidates may submit the duly filled Application in the prescribed format (enclosed herewith) dully signed along with copy of relevant documents should submit to the Office of the Department of Education, 2nd floor, Secretariate, Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli District but not later than 31/01/2022, 05:00P.M. The application received after the due date shall not be entertained. Those teachers who had discontinued as primary teachers may also be applied.

U.T. of Daman and Diu comprises two districts namely Daman and Diu. Both Districts are situated on western coast of India at a distance of about 700 kms. Daman is the head Quarter of this U.T.
Daman is on main land near southern portion of Gujarat State. Vapi is the nearest Railway Station (13 kms) which is on Western Railway between Mumbai and Surat. Vapi is 167 kms from Mumbai Central and 95 kms from Surat.
Diu is an island near Una of Junagarh District in Gujarat State. Nearest Railway Station is Delwada at the distance of 9 kms from Diu. But important trains are linked with Veraval which is 90 kms from Diu. A portion of Diu District is on main land which is named as Ghoghla. A small part of Diu known as Simbor is situated in Gujarat at a distance of 25 kms from Diu.
