Educational Qualification: PG Diploma, MS/MD
The Directorate of Medical & Health Services conducts walk-in-interview for below mentioned posts to be filled on Short Term contract Basis under Department of Health and Family Welfare, Daman 1. Post Name: General Surgeon 2. No of Post: 1 3. Essential: MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in respective subject with 3 years experience in case of PG Degree or 5 years in case of PG Diploma. The candidate having less experience may also attend the interview. 4. Salary as experience For Degree : 125000per Fresh Rs.1 pm Experience more than 5 years: Rs. 1,75,000/- pm For Diploma : 90000 Fresh pm Experience more than 5 years Rs.125000 1. Post Name: Paediatrician 2. No of Post: 1 3. Essential: MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in respective subject with 3 years experience in case of PG Degree or 5 years in case of PG Diploma. The candidate having less experience may also attend the interview. 4. Eligible and desirous candidates may attend the interview aiongwith an application in prescribed format (available on website www.daman.nic.in ) with one set of attested photocopy of educational qualification, registration certificate and experience certificate etc on above mentioned date, place and time.
2. Candidate appearing for the interview shall report at 9.30 am sharp on 30/03/2022 for document verification at Collectorate, Dholar, Moti Daman.
3. Person who has been previously terminated from any Government Organisation shall not be considered.
4. All eligible qualification Masters / Degree / Diploma must be from a recognized university / College by Government of India.

Daman is on main land near southern portion of Gujarat State. Vapi is the nearest Railway Station (13 kms) which is on Western Railway between Mumbai and Surat. Vapi is 167 kms from Mumbai Central and 95 kms from Surat.
Diu is an island near Una of Junagarh District in Gujarat State. Nearest Railway Station is Delwada at the distance of 9 kms from Diu. But important trains are linked with Veraval which is 90 kms from Diu. A portion of Diu District is on main land which is named as Ghoghla. A small part of Diu known as Simbor is situated in Gujarat at a distance of 25 kms from Diu.
