Educational Qualification: M.A, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech

1. Name of the Post: State Project Manager (Raipur) (NPSA9)

2. Contract Duration: 1 Year with Possibility for extension

3. Locations: Raipur, India

4. Education: Master’s degree from a recognized institution in environmental science/engineering/ sustainable development/ Social sciences/ public policy.

5. Experience:

a) A minimum of 2 years of relevant post Masters experience of development programmes on environment like natural resource management, watershed programmes, etc.

b) At least 2 years of work experience in Chhatisgarh at a programme management level is essential

c) Experience on climate change programmes would be as asset

d) Experience of working with Central and/or State Governments/ NGOs/ Civil Society on similar assignments will be preferred.

e) Familiarity with the working environment and professional standards of international organizations and national and State Governments.

f) Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems

6. Language requirements: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi is mandatory.

7. Travel:

a) This position would require travel to project sites within the State

b) For specific meetings and consultations, the incumbent would have to travel to other Project States as well as to New Delhi
