1. Name of the Post: Project Manager (NPSA8)
2. Locations: New Delhi, India
3. Contract Duration: 1 Year
4. Education:
a) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environment, Waste Management, Social Sciences, Rural Development or related fields
b) Desirable: Master’s degree or equivalent in environment, waste management, social sciences, Rural Development or related fields
5. Experience:
a) At least 2 years of professional experience in the areas of waste management, with special reference to plastic waste management etc.
b) Should have at least 1 year of experience in Consulting and implementing similar projects and stakeholder coordination including donors and partners.
c) Experience in leading teams in the pertinent subject area (min 3 team members)
d) Experience on preparation of TORs / EoI documents on waste management will be preferable.
e) Should have experience in executing activities related to social & financial inclusion, mainstreaming of the marginal sector work force(waste pickers, construction workers, etc).
f) High-level of IT/computing skills (minimum: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
g) Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive constructive attitude;
h) Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities;
i) Ability to prioritize assignments and requirements, and multitask as needed;
j) Ability to work independently with limited supervision
k) Ability to integrate technology into various aspects of the project for planning, rollout and monitoring
l) Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity
m) Knowledge of various government rules & regulations of waste management and environment management is desired
6. Language requirements: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi is essential. Regional language specific to the zone is essential.
