Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow in the project, entitled “Systematics of the genus Gentiana L. (Gentianaceae) in Eastern Himalaya, India” funded by SERB, Govt. of India, New Delhi, under Dr. Debabrata Maity, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700 019

3. Eligibility Qualification: M. Sc. in Botany with strong background in Plant Taxonomy. Candidates must be CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualified or equivalent.
4. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge in the area of molecular taxonomy.
5. Duration of project: 3 years
6. Fellowship: As per SERB rules.
