Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the appointment of SRF, Project Assistants, Project Accountant and Computer operator on temporary basis for the project of "Watershed Development to Prevent Drought (WDPD)" under the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot and funded by the Department of Watershed Development, Government of Karnataka. The details of the same are mentioned below. 1. Designation: Project Assistants 2. No of Post: 35 3. Qualification and Eligibility: BSc(Horticulture)/ B.Sc (Agri.)/BE Civil/ Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Any other Science graduate/ Diploma in Horticulture or Agriculture with relevant experience in soil survey BSc (Horticulture)/ B.Sc (Agri.)/Diploma in Horticulture/Agriculture /Any other Science Degree with experience in laboratory analysis B.Tech/B.E/BSc in Geo informatics and any other science Degree with experience in GIS and Remote sensing. B.Tech/B.E civil engineering/ Diploma in civil engineering /Diploma in Agri. Engg/Any other Science graduate with experience in Hydrology. 4. Salary / Honorarium/ Per month: Rs. 25,000 Consolidated

Interested candidates who are willing to be considered for the above post may appear for the Walk-in-interview along with the biodata in the Proforma given in duplicate with two passport size colored photographs at the O/o The Directorate of Research, University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot-587104 from 23.12.2021 at 9.00 AM as indicated above. The original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of the interview. No TA and DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview. The appointment is purely on a Temporary Basis and appointment under this notification does not ipso-facto confer any right/lien etc., for regularization of service in the University.
