Applications are invited for the following contractual positions (purely on temporary basis) to be filled up in the Bioinformatics Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly University of Pune) under the project "Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre (BIC) for Viral Bioinformatics" funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi. 1. Name of the Position: Project Scientist - II 2. No of Post: 01 3. Qualifications: (i) Doctoral degree in Science (Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/ Virology/ Computer Science/ Data Science/ Statistics) OR Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Computer Science/ Data Science/ Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics) from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Experience of 3 years in R&D, scientific activities & services in Industry/Academic institutions/ Science & Technology Organisations Prior experience in Database design/ Algorithm and Server development/ coding for areas such immunoinformatics/ chemoinformatics/ biology/bioinformatics would be desirable. as genomics/ computational 4. Salary: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month 1. Name of the Position: Project Scientist - I 2. No of Post: 01 3. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Science (Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Virology/ Computer Science/ Data Science/ Statistics) OR Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Computer Science/ Data Science/ Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics) from a recognized university or equivalent Prior experience in Database design/ Algorithm and Server development/ coding for areas such immunoinformatics/ chemoinformatics/ biology/bioinformatics would be desirable. as genomics/ computational 4. Salary: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA per month 1. Name of the Position: Project Associate-I 2. No of Post: 01 3. Qualifications: i. Master's degree in Science (Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Computer Science/ Data Science/ Virology/ Statistics) or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology (Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Science/ Information Technology/ Data Science) from a recognized University or equivalent ii. Prior experience in Database design/ Algorithm and Server development/ coding for areas such immunoinformatics/ chemoinformatics/ biology/bioinformatics would be desirable. as genomics/ computational 4. Salary: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month 1. Name of the Position: Administrative Assistant / Attendant 2. No of Post: 01 3. Qualifications: Graduate Degree in any discipline Preference will.be given to candidates with prior experience of providing administrative assistance in academic/research organisations. 4. Salary: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month
Pay Scale: INR 18000 - 67000(Per Month)
Age Limit: 35 - 50 Years
