Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Graduate degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: 21-32 Years.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/-. Female/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from the payment of a fee.
Selection Procedure: shortlisted for the Civil Services (Main) Examination through the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type). To select eligible candidates for the interview round, the Civil Services (Main) Examination has been conducted For appointments to the IAS and other service posts, there is an interview or personality test.
