Educational Qualification:
Police Sub Inspector (Confidential): Candidates should have Graduate or equivalent, Hindi typing 25 wpm, English typing 30 wpm, Hindi stenography 80 wpm or equivalent.

Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerical): Candidates should have Graduate or equivalent, Hindi typing 25 wpm, English typing 30 wpm or equivalent.

Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts): Candidates should have Graduate in Commerce or Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, Hindi typing 15 wpm or equivalent.
