The Thane Municipal Corporation has released a notification under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) for the engagement of Medical Officers (MBBS) on a contractual basis. Applications are invited for Part-Time and Full-Time Medical Officer posts to serve at Urban Primary Health Centers in Thane. Eligible candidates with an MBBS degree and valid MMC registration can attend the walk-in interview scheduled for February 5, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Medical Officer (Part-Time & Full-Time)

  • Essential: MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical College/University. Valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) Registration is mandatory.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years, Maximum up to 69 Years (as per NUHM contractual norms).
  • Desirable: Preference will be given to experienced Medical Officers.
