Online Applications are invited from Eligible Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) CIVIL against category-wise vacancies under Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) as detailed below. Application received through other modes is not acceptable.
1. Position: Assistant Engineer (Trainee)
2. No of Post: 14
3. Pay Scale: As per 7th ray commission:- {Pay Matrix Leve-10; Rs. 59500 Dearness and other allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.
4. Qualification:
(i) Candidates should have sufficient knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script.
(ii) A degree in civil engineering from a University OR Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other Institution recognized by the State Government, or a degree or Piplomatecognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government OR
(iii) Sectiön-A' and 'B' the Associate membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) OR
(iv) Be an Associate Member of the institution of Civil Engineers (London).

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2022.
1. Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Test and Personal Interview.
2., Computer Based Test(CBT) will be held at major cities of Uttar Pradesh .i.e. Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Barejl uckhow, Ghaziabad, Meerut cities, etc.
3. Electricity Service Commission; however have to cancel any of the Examination City/ Center and/or add some other cities/center depending upon the nos. of candidates, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure. conditions etc.
4. Question Paper shall consist of 75% questions from the Bachelor engineering level, 10 % questions of General Knowledge/ Awareness, 10% questions reasoning/aptitude and 5% questions of General Hindi
5. Each question will carry one (01ark Each wrong answer shall carry the negative mark of 25% (i.e 0.25 mark). If the number on applicant candidates are more, and the exam is conducted in more than one days, the normalization formula given in Annexure-1 will be used to prepare merit of shortlist/select list.
6. Candidates, who obtain less than 30 % marks in BTillo be eligible for further stage of selection for Interview.
7. Maximum number of candidates ode shortlisted for interview will be equal to 2 times the number of category-wise vacancies
8. Candidates having equal marks as that of last shortlisted candidate will also be calefor interview candidate is shortlisted for interview, then appearing in interviews compulsory, failing which his/her candidature wil be as canceled.
9. The place, date of Interview will be intimated by ESC separately. The SELECT ist shall prepared on the basis of the combined marks obtained in the CBT and Interview.
