Eligibility Criteria

- Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET): Objective-type examination.
- The PET score is valid for 3 years for subsequent Main Examination applications.
📝 How to Apply Step-by-Step
Candidates who wish to apply for the UPSSSC PET 2026 must follow the online application process below.
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR): First-time users must complete OTR on the UPSSSC website. Existing OTR holders can use their credentials.
- Log in: Use your OTR number or registered mobile number to log in. Enter the OTP received.
- Fill Application Form: The form will auto-populate with OTR details. Enter additional information like Intermediate qualification, marital status, EWS status, and other relevant details.
- Submit Declaration: Read the declaration carefully, agree, and submit. An 11-digit Registration Slip will be generated. Save it.
- Pay Fee: Click "Proceed for Payment" on the Registration Slip page. Pay the applicable fee via the available online modes.
- Download Application Form: After successful payment, download and print the final application form. The process is complete only after this step.
Important: The last date for registration and fee payment is 1st September 2026. The last date for fee adjustment and application correction is 8th September 2026. No offline applications are accepted.

- One Time Registration (OTR): This is mandatory. Complete your OTR on the UPSSSC website before starting the PET application.
- Application Correction: No corrections are allowed after the PET registration number is generated. Ensure all OTR details and application information are accurate before final submission.
- Fee Payment: Payment can be made online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan. Ensure payment is successfully completed and the application form is downloaded.
- Score Validity: The PET score is valid for 3 years and can be used to apply for subsequent Main Examinations for Group 'C' posts.
- Aadhaar Authentication: The Commission will authenticate candidates' Aadhaar details at various stages. Ensure your Aadhaar details are up to date.
