Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Wildlife/Soil Science/Environmental Science/Zoology/Allied Sciences from a recognized University with 1st Division (at least 60% Marks). Desirable Knowledge and Work Experience: a. Excellent knowledge and skills in computer applications (MS-Office, Internet etc.) b. Field work experience in the field of Working Plan/Forestry Research with knowledge and experience in identification of tree, shirubs and herbs in the forest and measurement of inventory parameters of forest vegetation. c. Knowledge of GIS specially handling of GPS devices and basic knowledge of Geospecial Technologies. d. Physically fit for extensive travel and trek in the mountain region. e. Research Articles published in recognized journal.

Are naria ferruginea; Chimonobambusa jaunsarensis, Gentian tetrasepala, G. saginoides, Meeboldia solenoids, Microschoenus duthiei, Trachycarpus takil, Poa rhadina, etc. are some such species.
