Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Botany/ Zoology /Forestry /Wildlife from a recognized University/ lnstitution with 1st Division (at least 60% Marks). Desirable Knowledge and Work Experience:- Good knowledge and skills in computer applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint etc.) Field work experience in the field of forestry research with knowledge and experience in identification of trees, shrubs and herbs in the forest and measurement of inventory parameters of forest vegetation. Knowledge of GIS, especially handling of GPS devices and basic knowledge on Geospatial Technologies. Physically fit for extensive travel and trek in the mountainous/ plain region. Research Articles published in a recognized journal. Preference will be given to candidate with prior experience of Forestry/Wildlife related research and surveys and in Biodiversity related issues.

Selection Procedure
