Number of Vacancy: 01 Posts
Educational Qualification: 1st Class Post Graduate degree in Zoology (with Entomology) from a recognized University (OR) 1st Class Post Graduate Degree in Public Health Entomology from a recognized University (OR) 2nd Class PG degree with Ph.D in the above subjects from a recognized University.
Pay Scale:
INR
56,100-1,77,500/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) is required. SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee. The application fee is payable by allother candidates including ICMRanditsInstitutes'employees. The feeoncedeposited willnot be refunded under any circumstances whatsoever norcan the feebe held in reserve for any other examination orselection.

The duly completed Application Form should be sent in a sealed cover envelope superscribing "Application forthe post of Technical Officer-B" on the envelope to "The Director, ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre, Medical Complex, Indira Nagar, Puducherry – 605 006 through Speed Post/Registered post (Applications by hand will not be received) latest by 05.09.2023 along with non-refundable application fee by Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) drawn in any nationalized bank payable at Puducherry in favour of "The Director, ICMR-VCRC, Puducherry". About Vector Control Research Centre
ICMR- Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC), established at Pondicherry (now Puducherry) in July 1975, is one of the permanent institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Government of India. ICMR- VCRC has been engaged in basic and applied research with the primary objective of finding newer methods and developing strategies for vector control for the control of vector-borne diseases. The World Health Organization (WHO) designated the ICMR- VCRC as a collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Lymphatic filariasis and Integrated Vector Management on 15th May 1985. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in 2000 recognized the Centre as one of the Institutes of Excellence in India for Courses in Health Training.
