Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2026):
  • Master’s Degree from a Recognized University in Hindi with English as one subject at Degree level, OR
  • Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one subject at Degree level, OR
  • Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi and English as one subject each at Degree level, OR
  • Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi medium and English as a subject at Degree level.
• Experience: 5 years of terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice versa, preferably of Technical or Scientific literature, with 5 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Writing, or Journalism in Hindi.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or a Modern Indian Language, Administrative Experience, Experience in organizing Hindi classes or workshops.
• Age Limit: 35 years as on 01 September 2026. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India Guidelines, up to 55 years for existing Port Authority employees.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be based on a Written Examination and/or Interview, depending on the number of eligible applications received. If both are conducted, the weightage will be 85% for the written examination and 15% for the interview. No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process.

• Attach two recent passport-size photographs.
