1. Post Name: Video Editor

2. Location: Chennai 

3. From 3 to 8 year(s) of experience

4. Key Responsibilities:

a. Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer

b. Following a script, screenplay or outline

c. Incorporating sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs

d. Adding graphics to enhance footage

e. Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file

f. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage

g. Working closely with peer team to present a final product that matches faculty members vision

5. Qualification and Experience: UG or PG in Film Production/Visual Communication / Electronic Media/ Multimedia and animation or similar disciplines Experience in handling few of the above described portfolio is mandatory

6. Requirements:

i. Experience in Final Cut Pro and Adobe suite (Premiere pro, After Effects, Photoshop)

ii. Proven and relevant field experience in video editing in some reputed media organization.

iii. Proficient in Multimedia and MS Office tools

iv. In depth knowledge of latest trends/developments in the field of media, video editing and the ability to enhance the course materials.

v. Excellent organizational, project-management and time-management skills

vi. Outstanding communication and Good team management skills
