Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Who Can Apply: Officers from Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, PSUs, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutions.

Essential Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. in Social Sciences or relevant areas from a recognized University or equivalent.
• An eminent scholar with a good publication record.

Essential Deputation / Service Conditions

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
• With five years of service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in PB-3 Rs. 15,600–39,100 + GP Rs. 5,400 or equivalent in the parent cadre; OR
• With six years of service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in Pay Band-2 Rs. 9,300–34,800 + GP Rs. 4,800 or equivalent in the parent cadre.
• Possessing qualification and experience in labour-related research, training, teaching, education project coordination, and management.

Desirable Qualifications

• Proven ability in different areas of pedagogic analysis.
• Proven capacity in creating labour information on/skills sets.
• Research papers in reputed journals and/or major national and/or international seminars.
• Proven record of organizing/coordinating research teams.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for the post of Fellow on Deputation will be carried out by an appropriately constituted Selection Committee at VVGNLI. The following stages apply:

1. Initial Screening: The Institute will evolve criteria for shortlisting candidates based on the submitted Curriculum Vitae (CV), publications, and supporting documents.
2. Assessment by Selection Committee: Shortlisted candidates' CVs, duly supported by all submitted documents, will be assessed by the Selection Committee at the time of selection.
3. Approval / Deputation Clearance: Final appointment is subject to clearance of the deputation process and approval from the competent authority of the parent organization.

Note: There is no written test or walk-in interview. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for the selection process.
