1. Position: Physicist –cumRadiation Safety Officer

2. No of Post: 27

3. Scale of Pay: As per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019 in Pay Matrix Level – 16 read with F.D.Memo No.5562-F(P), dated 25.09.2019, in the corresponding Pay Band (PB-4A)of Rs.15,600 – 42,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400 /- as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2009 read with F.D.Memo No.961-F(P), dated 07.02.2011. Other allowances admissible as per Govt. Rules.

4. Qualification: 

a) A certificate of Radiation Safety Officer from BHABA Atomic Research Centre or Atomic Energy Regulatory Board 

b) PG Degree or PG Diploma in Radiological or Medical Physics of a recognized University or Institution (All Years’ Including Sup Plementary Marksheets To Be Attached) along with Masters’ Degree in Physics or Electronics or Biophysics from a recognized University (FINAL YEAR MARKSHE ET/PASSED CERTIFICATE TO BE ATTACHED)

c) M.Sc. in Medical Physics from any Recognized University (All Years’ Including Sup Plementary Marksheets  along with Relevant Certificates/documents To Be Attached)

Pay Scale: INR 15600 - 42000(Per Month)

Age Limit: Not more than 45 (forty-five) years on the 1st day of January of the year of advertisement (01-01-2022); Provided that the upper age may be relaxable for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes as per Government Order for the time being in force.

Selection Procedure

A candidate should verify from the notified eligibility criteria to ascertain whether he/ she is eligible for submission of application. The condition prescribed cannot be relaxed.
