Educational Qualification: a) Medical qualifications included in the First Schedule, or the Second
Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule, to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal; b) Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Age Limit: Not less than 21 years and not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2022. The upper age limit shall be relaxable in respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes or the Scheduled Castes or the Other Backward Classes (Category A and Category B) as per extant rules of the Government of West Bengal.
