Number of Vacancy: 12 Posts
Educational Qualification: Scientific Consultant Grade-I: Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences or equivalent from recognized institute/ University AND Five to Ten years of experience (after obtaining Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences) in R&D in Industrials or Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services. Senior Project Associate: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology (Computer Science/Information Technology/ Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Data/Electrical Engineering/electronics / Civil/ Mechanic Engineering & communication/AI Technology/Data Science) or equivalent from recognized institute/ University AND Four years of experience (after obtaining Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology) in R&D in Industrials or Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services. Project Associate: Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences or equivalent from recognized institute/ University or equivalent. Project Assistant-I: SSC (10 + 2) or 10 + ITI.
Pay Scale: INR 30000-90000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Application Fee: An Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for the applicant(s) belonging to General Category shall have to be deposited through an online mode. However, candidate belongs to category SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Non-General Category) and Physically Challenged (PC) are exempted from the said Application Fee but shall have to pay Rs.100/- as ‘Application Processing’ Fee.

Duly filled-in hard copy of Application-Form with appropriate signature (not photocopy/ digital signature) along with all self-attested documents and application along with processing fee shall be addressed By-post only to The Nodal Officer, Research Recruitment & Placement Cell, Wildlife Institute of India, Chandrabani, Dehradun – 248001 (Uttarakhand) and, the same must reach the Institute latest by 1700hrs on 13 June 2025.
