IRCS Jashpur Recruitment 2026 – 3 Driver and Support Staff Walk-In Interview on 16 October 2026

The Indian Red Cross Society, District – Jashpur has issued Advertisement No. Redcross/MM.U/79/2026-27 dated 08 October 2026 inviting eligible Chhattisgarh domiciled candidates to attend a direct walk-in interview for 3 vacancies of Driver and Support Staff. The engagement is contractual for one year with a consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 18,000/-. Candidates must bring all required documents, a completed application form, and an original Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- on the interview date.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

Total 3 vacancies are available across a single post category. The consolidated honorarium covers all emoluments; no additional allowances, HRA, or transport facility will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post Name: Driver and Support Staff (3 Vacancies)
• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed the 8th Standard examination.
• Driving License: A valid Live Heavy Driving License (relevant to commercial vehicles) is mandatory.
• Experience: Experience certificate issued by a government office or institution is compulsory. Private-sector experience certificates will not be accepted.
• Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be native residents of Chhattisgarh with a domicile / permanent residence certificate from a competent authority.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on the date of walk-in interview.
• Nationality: Indian citizens domiciled in Chhattisgarh only.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for Driver and Support Staff follows a same-day multi-stage process on 16 October 2026:

1. Application Submission & Document Verification (09:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Candidates must report in person at the venue with the completed application form, original Demand Draft, self-attested certificates, and identity proof.
2. Scrutiny & Merit List Publication (12:00 PM – 03:00 PM): The merit list is prepared based on the following weightage:
   • 70% weightage – Marks obtained in the 8th Standard examination
   • Up to 10 marks – Experience (2 marks per year, government experience only)
   • Up to 20 marks – Skill Test score
3. Skill Test (From 04:00 PM onwards): Up to 5 times the number of vacancies (i.e., up to 15 candidates) called from the merit list will be assessed on driving proficiency and vehicle handling.

No Travel Allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in process. The initial contract is valid for 1 year and is purely temporary, subject to annual performance evaluation and continuity recommendation.

The fee must be paid by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society Jashpur, payable at Jashpur. The original DD must be attached to the application form; applications without the DD will be rejected without notice.
