Project Context: The CEO will lead NIRL OREDA Renewables Limited, a joint venture company of NLC India Renewables Limited and OREDA Limited, responsible for developing 1,000 MW Green Energy Projects including potential 250 MW Wind Power and 225 MW Floating Solar projects in Phase 1.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Current Posting: Candidate must be serving in the State Government of Odisha or a State Public Sector Undertaking.
- Required Rank & Pay Level: Must have held the rank of Special Secretary, Executive Director, Chief General Manager or equivalent in Pay Matrix Level-17 (or equivalent) for a minimum period of 5 years.
- Total Professional Experience: Minimum 30 years of professional experience.
- Domain Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project approval, land acquisition, and execution of large projects, with adequate knowledge of applicable statutory and other clearances.
- Age Limit: Not more than 60 years as on the closing date of application (26 October 2026).
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with an Engineering background and an MBA qualification will be preferred.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Appointment to the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is conducted on a deputation basis from eligible and experienced officers of the Government of Odisha or State Public Sector Undertakings who satisfy the specified rank, pay matrix level, and project execution experience requirements.
