- Service Background: Retired officers of not below the rank of Sub Inspector (SI) / Junior Commissioned Officer (J.C.O.) from one or more of the following: Assam Police Battalion, Railway Protection Force, Armed Forces, Paramilitary Forces, etc.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum three (3) years of experience working in Security Service in a Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Autonomous Organization, or large Industrial Unit of repute.
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years. Five (5) years age relaxation is available for experienced candidates from Higher Educational Institutes of repute.
