Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: 89 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Professor: Same as for Associate Professor & 14 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Additional Professor: Same as for Associate Professor & 10 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Associate Professor: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). & A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. & 06 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). & DM in Gastroenterology (2 Years or 3 Years or 5 Years or 6 Years recognized course after MBBS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Pay Scale:
INR
101500-220400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Preferably below 58 years.

Selection Process: The applications of the candidates which will be received with in prescribed date and time and who submit the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible candidates will be called for personal interview before the Standing Selection Committee of the Institute. In case, the numbers of applicants are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise criteria for short-listing of the candidates which may include holding of written examination.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from payment of fee.
SC/ST category: Rs. 1000/-.
For other categories: Rs. 2000/-.
