AIIMS Jodhpur has announced a recruitment drive for 2026 to fill 02 temporary positions under the Department of Physiology. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in Science, Diploma holders, and experienced field workers to join a premier medical institute. The recruitment is conducted on a temporary basis co-terminus with the project duration.

Recruitment Type: Walk-in Interview (Direct Recruitment). No written examination is required; selection is based on the interview and screening test (if necessary).

Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Project Technician-III (Sr. Lab Assistant):
  • Essential: 12th Pass in science subjects with a Graduation in relevant subject (B.Sc. in Pulmonary Function Test Technology) OR 2-year Diploma in Pulmonary Function Test/Technology plus 1 year experience in pulmonary laboratory/health research.
  • Experience Equivalence: B.Sc. degree is considered equivalent to 3 years of experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in pulmonary function technology lab, knowledge of computer applications (Excel, Word, PPT), fluency in Marwari, Hindi, and English.
• Project Technician-II (Field Assistant):
  • Essential: High School + 5 years of field data collection experience OR 12th/Intermediate with Science + B.Sc. (Social Science/Sociology/Science) [Treated as 2-3 years experience] OR 12th Pass + 3 years field experience OR B.Sc. + 2 years field experience.
  • Desirable: Master of Public Health (MPH)/M.Sc. Nursing/Medical Social Work preferred. Fluency in Marwari, Hindi, and English.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

• Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of 11 February 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Age concession may be considered for experience in other ICMR research projects on a case-by-case basis (as per General Information/Instructions).

3. Mandatory Requirements

• Languages: Fluency in Marwari, Hindi, and English is desirable.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office/Internet is required for Sr. Lab Assistant.
• Physical/Field Work: Field Assistant must be willing to work in the field.
• NOC: Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Selection Process

This is a direct recruitment via Walk-in Interview. The selection procedure depends on the number of candidates present:

1. Walk-in Interview: Primary selection mode.
2. Shortlisting/Screening:
   • If candidates exceed 10 per post, shortlisting will be done based on desirable qualifications.
   • If eligible candidates exceed 3 per post, a Screening Test may be conducted.
   • Screening test marks are used only for shortlisting (1:3 ratio) and are not carried forward to the final interview marks.
3. Final Selection: Based on Interview performance (and screening test, if conducted).
