Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Bharti 2026 – Overview

The Local Self Government Department (Swayatt Shasan Vibhag), Jaipur, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 for direct recruitment of Contract Safai Karmachari on a contractual basis under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022. Eligibility Criteria – Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Bharti 2026

Nationality / Domicile

Applicant must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Rajasthan.

Educational Qualification

No specific educational qualification is prescribed.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in sanitation work in any urban local body of Rajasthan. The experience certificate must be issued on or after 1st August 2026 and by the competent authority in the prescribed format.

Age Limit (as on 1st January 2027)

Minimum 21 years, maximum 40 years. Relaxation as per rules: SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS male – 5 years; General women – 5 years; SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS women – 10 years; widows/divorced women – no upper limit; ex-servicemen – 10 years; PwBD – 5 years additional.

Important Note

A candidate can apply for only one ULB; multiple applications will be rejected.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 7,410/- as per the Labour Department notification dated 13th December 2024. This is a contractual post with job security under the state government.
