The University of Allahabad (A Central University) invites applications/nomination for honorary post of Niti Ayog chair Professor in the Department of Economics at University of Allahabad within ten days.

1. Name of the Post: Niti Ayog Chair Professor

2. Essential Qualification: The applicant shall be a working or retired professor of economics with outstanding track record in the designated areas of studies such as economics policies/theories/project making etc.

3. Scale of Pay: An Honorarium may be considered depending upon the financial constraints of fund provided by Niti Ayog.

4. Period of appointment: The appointment will be done for maximum period of three years or the attainment of the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

5. Duration of the Chair: 03 Years

6. Leave Rules: The leave Rules shall be governed as per the provision of the University’s Ordinance. No encashment of unused leave will be admissible.
