In continuation to Commission original advertisement of even no. dated 3rd May' 2021 and as per Govt. requisition No.PWRS/E-93/95-96-Vol-III/pt-II/4002 Dated 12th Octobers 2021, wherein requisition for another 7 (Seven) post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical)/ Assistant Electrical Inspector, Group-A (Gazetted) Non-ministerial has been placed with the Commission. it is hereby informed to all aspiring candidates of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), that the total vacancy has increased from 15 (fifteen) to 22 (twenty two) posts .
1. Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
2. The Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics/TeIecommunication/Computer from a recognized University. However, one who have appeared OR appearing in the final semester examination shall also be eligible to apply subject to production of original certificate/mark sheet at the time of viva-voce/lnterview.

Age Limit: The applicant must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 32 years of age as on 10-06-2021. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time in respect of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe and Arunachal Pradesh Govt. Employees.
Selection Procedure
1. The eligible candidate will have to appear in the written examination in the subjects followed by viva-voce.Total Marks 1000 Marks
2. For qualifying in the Written Examination, a candidate must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and an aggregate total of minimum 45% marks.
3. From amongst the candidates qualified in the Written Examination, the Commission will invite for the Viva Voce, numbers equal to three times the advertised posts as per merit.
4. In case there are a large number of applicants, the Commission may conduct an Initial Recruitment Test (OMR Based Objective Type) on Technical Subject, to limit the number of candidates for the Written Examination to 12 times the advertised posts.
5. Applicants must give his/her preference of Stream/subject while filling up the application form.

The Commission's website www.appsc.gov.in.com will reopen for those candidates who have not applied earlier w.e.f. 27-12-2021 to 10-01-2022 upto 1800 hours after that the link will be disabled.

lmmediately after reconstitution of Arunachal Pradesh as a State, a need was felt for the State to have its own Public Service Commission to recruit and manage the Public Service of the State. Thus, the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on 4 April 1988 under Article 315 of the lndian Constitution, with Shri TS Deori as its first Chairman and Shri M.R Das, IAS(Retd) & Shri Y. Tikhak as its first two Members. The Commission today consists of a Chairman, four members and is served by a Secretariat. Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations No OM-15/88 dated 29 March 1988, as amended from time to time, govern the functioning of the Commission.
The Commission, till recently, was functioning from a temporary office building, allotted by the State Government, earlier meant for the Administrative Training Centre. A new building for holding Recruitment Examinations, with a capacity of 920 seats, was added in 2018. A Guest House came up alongside in 2019. The Commission's permanent Campus has been approved and is to come up, post demolition of the existing office building. The Commission has shifted its offices to the Guest House Building and functions from there in the interim.
