The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications through online from the citizens of lndia. for filling up ofposts of Research Assistant as detailed below:-

5. Educational Qualification:
i. B.Com, BA with Economics as one of the subjects and B.Sc. with Mathematics 0R Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
ii. However, one who have appeared Or appearing in the final yearlsemester examination shall also be eligible to apply subject to production of original certificate/Mark sheet at the time of viva voce/ lnterview.

Age Limit: Not less than 18 Years of age and more than 32 Years ofage as on24th April 2022.
1. Written Examination.
2. Eligible Applicants will be required to undertake a Written Examination in the following subjects:-
(a) General English: 100 Marks
[b) General Knowledge: 100 Marks.
(c) Optional Subjects(Economics /Commerce/Mathematics/ Statistics): 1 00 Marks
3. To qualify an Applicant must score a minimum of 33%o in each subiect as also, a minimum of 45o/o in aggregate score.
4. Of such qualified candidates, a number three times the advertised posts (Approximately 301, in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the Interview/Viva-Voce.
5. lnterview/Viva-Voce Total Marks-40 Will be conducted in the premises of the Commission
6. The Commission reserved the right to conduct a 'Recruitment Test'fPreliminary TestJ, if the number of Applicants is significantly large.
7. The 'Recruitment Test' will be Multiple Choice, Objective Type, to be answered on OMR Sheet in General Knowledge.
8. Based on the Order of Merit of the 'Recruitment Test', Applicants, twelve times the advertised posts [Approximately 120), will be eligibte and invited for the Written Examination.

2. One Time Registration on Commission's Website is mandatory.(Once registered, all future applications for any post/vacancy can be submitted using Login ID Password

lmmediately after reconstitution of Arunachal Pradesh as a State, a need was felt for the State to have its own Public Service Commission to recruit and manage the Public Service of the State. Thus, the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on 4 April 1988 under Article 315 of the lndian Constitution, with Shri TS Deori as its first Chairman and Shri M.R Das, IAS(Retd) & Shri Y. Tikhak as its first two Members. The Commission today consists of a Chairman, four members and is served by a Secretariat. Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations No OM-15/88 dated 29 March 1988, as amended from time to time, govern the functioning of the Commission.
The Commission, till recently, was functioning from a temporary office building, allotted by the State Government, earlier meant for the Administrative Training Centre. A new building for holding Recruitment Examinations, with a capacity of 920 seats, was added in 2018. A Guest House came up alongside in 2019. The Commission's permanent Campus has been approved and is to come up, post demolition of the existing office building. The Commission has shifted its offices to the Guest House Building and functions from there in the interim.
