The Braithwaite Bum & Jessop Construction Company Limited is a Central Public Sector Enterprise, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govemment of India. The Company invites application through online mode [website of Apprenticeship Portal i.e. www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in] for engagement of 08 Nos. Trade Apprentices for the year 2021- 22 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended from time to time and Rules thereof, in the following trades/disciplines:

1. Name of the Post: Trade Apprentice (ITI)

2. No. of vacancies: Total 08 Nos.

3. Stipend: 7700/- p.m.

4. Duration of Training: As per Apprentice Act i.e. One year for ITI pass out candidates.

5. Training will be conducted in Kolkata only. 6. The candidate should have passed their ITI from recognized industrial training institute under NCVT/SCVT only.

7. The selection criteria will be based on merit of final percentage of marks obtained by candidate in their ITI applied for.

8. Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training or undergoing Apprenticeship

9. Training or registered for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible

10. Only ITI passed candidates shall apply.

11. Candidates must produce ORIGINAL marks cards/cerificates issued by competent authority at the time of document verification

12. Reservation for SC/ST/PWD/OBC/EWS/ etc candidates will be as per the rules.

13. During the period of apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the "Apprentices Act, 1961" and the policies/rules of the organization.

14. The Braithwaite Bum & Jessop Construction Co Ltd has no obligation to give regular employment to Apprentices. Apprentices shall have no fight to claim regular employment from The Braithwaite Bum & Jessop Construction Co Ltd on the basis of this apprenticeship at any point of time. This training program shall not create any liability on The Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction Co Ltd for providing any job to the Apprentice. The Company does not take any responsibility for any sod of employment/placement.

15. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the Management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.

16. The Braithwaite Bum & Jessop Construction Co Ltd does not take any responsibility to reply to the candidate for non-selection/non-issuance of call/offer leader.

17. Suppression of facts & furnishing false information will lead to disqualification/termination from training.

18. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
