Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Postgraduate degree in Foods & Nutrition / Food Technology/Home Science/Community Sciences /Agri Business Management/ selected through process described by any of following: Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE. The selection process will be through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and institution such as DST, DBT, DAE,DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Junior Field Assistant (JFA): B.Sc. in Home Science / Agriculture /Veterinary Sc/Food Technology/Agri. Business Management/ MSW.

Selection Procedure

The Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI) was established by the Government of India in 1952 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It was previously known as Desert Afforestation Research Station until it was renamed in 1959.
The objectives of the Institute are to find ways to stabilizing shifting sand dunes, establishing silvi pastoral and firewood plantations, planting windbreaks to reduce wind speed and subsequent erosion, rehabilitating degraded forests and starting afforestation of barren hill slopes.
