Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
- Research Associate (II) (Chemistry/Pharmaceutical):
- PhD in Chemistry/Material Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences OR
- M. Pharm with 03 years of research/design/development experience and at least 3 research papers in SCI journals with high impact factor.
- Research Associate (I) (Ayurveda/Pharmaceutical):
- MD in Rasashastra / PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences OR
- M. Pharm / M. Pharma (Ayu) with 03 years of research experience and at least 1 research paper in SCI journals.
- Senior Project Associate:
- Master's Degree in Natural Sciences + 4 years R&D experience OR
- M. Pharm / B.Tech + 2 years R&D experience OR
- Master's Degree + NET/GATE/GPAT + 2 years R&D experience.
- Project Technical Support I:
- Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences + 1 year experience in Ayurveda Pharmacy OR
- 10+2 (Science) + 3 years experience in R&D (Ayurveda) OR
- 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ITI) + 2 years experience in Ayurveda Pharmacy.
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Research Associate: Maximum 40 years.
- Senior Project Associate & Project Technical Support: Maximum 35 years.
- Age as on: 1 January 2026.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
3. Mandatory Requirements
- Candidates must bring all original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of the interview.

Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) Bengaluru is one of the peripheral Institutes of Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India, New Delhi. It was established as Regional Research Centre in 1971 and subsequently, it was known as Regional Research Institute from 1999 and National Ayurveda Dietetics Research Institute from 2010 upto 2020.
The Institute consists of three divisions; viz., (1) Clinical Research unit (CRU), (2) Drug standardization Research unit (DSRU) and (3) Survey of MEDICINAL PLANTS unit (SMPU). Institute is conducting short term training programmes in basics of medicinal plant botany, pharmacognosy and chemistry. The Institute has a well-established reference library hosting around 2000 books and different scientific journals. The RARIMD is functioning successfully by rendering OPD and Panchakarma treatment service to the public. The campus also has 30 bedded Ayurveda Hospital, with Panchakarma, Yoga, Laboratory, Operation theatre, which will be functional in due course of time.
